Bridgestone SO2 PP's. You'll find a significant improvement but watch out for a slippery bedding-in period.

Question

My original set of Bridgestones are nearly worn out after 8500 Miles.
They have been great in the wet but give lots of understeer in the dry.
Any suggestions for a replacement?
Are the Goodyear Eagle F1's any good?

My car is a standard MY00 on 16" rims.

Malcolm

Yeah I've done about 8,500 miles and my original Brigestones are about done.
(I don't think I pushed them particulary hard either!)

Anyone care to comment on best supplier?

Rich

BTW Malcolm, I think Simon De Banke uses SO2's on his Scoob. Your preference may be different of course....

IMHO
Get the Goodyear F1's They are much better than the 010's in the dry and 100% better in the wet.

Very happy with mine - done 13k on 'em
and i will go for another set

Malcolm
8.5K and you've worn them out - Nice one
i got mine to 14K of not so gentle motoring.

I bought my second hand MY99 with 19K on the clock ...

and its original tyres with plenty of tread left!

It might have done a few miles, but they certainly weren't hard!

Shows how long they'll last if you take it easy on them.

Andrew.
