Bridgestone SO2 PP's. You'll find a significant improvement but watch out for a slippery bedding-in period.

My original set of Bridgestones are nearly worn out after 8500 Miles.
They have been great in the wet but give lots of understeer in the dry. Any suggestions for a replacement? Are the Goodyear Eagle F1's any good? My car is a standard MY00 on 16" rims. |
I like my 16" P-Zeros.

Yeah I've done about 8,500 miles and my original Brigestones are about done. (I don't think I pushed them particulary hard either!) Anyone care to comment on best supplier? Rich http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif BTW Malcolm, I think Simon De Banke uses SO2's on his Scoob. Your preference may be different of course.... |
IMHO
Get the Goodyear F1's They are much better than the 010's in the dry and 100% better in the wet. Very happy with mine - done 13k on 'em and i will go for another set Malcolm 8.5K and you've worn them out - Nice one i got mine to 14K of not so gentle motoring. I bought my second hand MY99 with 19K on the clock ...
and its original tyres with plenty of tread left! It might have done a few miles, but they certainly weren't hard! Shows how long they'll last if you take it easy on them. Andrew. MY99 DBM 5 door + SS Backbox |
