Everyone fits 215/40x17. F1s seems to be the best bet and good value (see other thread here). I'm getting some next week - my second set.

Richard.

PS Claudius, helpful as ever

I have an RB5 with Pzero's on 205 45 R17 and I am about to change my tyres. I am going to go for F1's. Can I put 215 40 R17's on the rims I have? or should I stick to the same size.

Depends on the rim width and on what sort of tyre behaviour you prefer

Will it fit? Sure it will.

Will it be great? That's a whole other story...

Cheers.

What tyres are other RB5 owners using on the Speedline alloys that come with the car?

I want to use F1's and it looks like they don't even come in 205 40 17's? so i'd have to use a different size?

Cheers guys I will go for changing to 215 40 17's then. Hopefully changing to the F1's will improve the grip.
