Advice. What Caliper is 1995 classic Impreza WRX STI
As above. Mechanics just quoted me £120+VAT per caliper to replace, as you can imagine I want to do a bit of shopping before deciding to go with them.

Got a set of 2 pot from sc motors they even took my old ones at 25 plus vat each. Only trouble is now my brake pedal feels like it has more travel before it works properly and also my brakes stink so think I need some better discs and pads!

You will get soft brakes from a classic especially if they're 2 pots but you shouldn't have a long pedal travel.
Personally I would do my own brakes and make sure they're right.
Obviously I can't know how your brakes feel.
Did the garage say what condition the pads and discs were in?
Does the car still stop well?

personally i would have taken the opportunity to fit four pots and a decent set of pads. my first scoob was running 320 bhp and some idiot pulled out in front of me on a dual carriageway and the brakes just couldnt stop the car and i almost ploughed into him. the origional brakes were shockingly bad even on a standard car.

I had a typera with the same 2 pots and with decent discs&pads they were perfectly fine for standard power.
