As you know I am a WYIOC, I attend the meets etc and have made a lot of friends...

Well with a small family and most of you are all the way over there and Im in York then I find it difficult to come to the Evening and impromptu meets, the bowling, the maze etc

Now this saddens me as I would like to attend.

As you all know there is a York Scoobs meet in York once a month and this is well attended by members from York to Scarborough....


What I am proposing and YES John Im getting to the point....

Is....

Would anybody have any opposition to a York Scoobs forum being set up within SNET, this wouldnt be in competition to the WYIOCS as it would be different members and I wouldnt technically be poaching any current WYIOC or future WYIOC members.... although for the two clubs to work alongside each other would be an even bigger bonus...

I dont want to start another war, I just want to have the opportunity of bringing together Subaru Owners within my closer area....

York Scoobies is well established, and what they do is their business.

I don't even think there's an issue here to be addressed.

Since York isn't in West Yorkshire, you could call it NYIOC

No problem whatsoever. Tell us your meet dates and the WYIOC may well attend, as we do occasionally with SMACS and Hull Scoobs.

Im trying to Alan Yes, well I say I, its a few of us, not just me... it will be a club run by its members. Its nothing to do with any specialist or anything, It is purely Scoobs in the York and surrounding area...

Anyone is welcome.

We get such a good turn out once a month it would be nice to get everyone on runs, shows, meets, track days etc etc

If it gets off the ground Alan any help would be gratefully accepted

go for it. there used to be a meet a buckles on A64, we used to occasionally visit!

 

Theres a meet already established first monday of the month at the Hopgrove Pub set up by Mr Bell & Bug Eyed Peas.....

All that would be nice is to get everyone more structured and have it work as a club
