Default Header tank insulators

Hello!

I'm after some header tank insulators, that carl Davey used to sell. Does anyone know who is selling these? Or do any members have a set for sale?

Cheers

Perfect! :-) Carl Davey used to sell them for £17.50 delivered. Shall we just round up to £20 delivered. Once you've found them, send me your paypal address, and i'll send the payment straight away :-) Cheers!

Unfortunately he doesn't sell them anymore, and wont be getting anymore into stock. Shame, because it was a relatively cheap and good product.
Cheers anyway :-)

Did you fix your DBM one or get a new one after the accident mate

I'm looking to mod mine to insert some captive threads same as the Carl Davey ones - if it works I have some spare threaded inserts

There was no fixing my old bug :-( it was a cat B write off. I need to start a project thred, I have a 2003 silver blob now, with nocking bottom end, as the engine is coming out and I have a new long engine, I'm changing all the gaskets, pipes, turbo , etc. While its out and about to go in.

Like the sound of the captive threads! If it works, I could be owing yet another drink!! :-)

The Carl Davey insulators were tested with proven results. But he doesnt sell them anymore, they are listed on his site, but he told me he wont be getting anymore.
These are made from a different material, but should be good too.

I've ordered mine too, will take 10 days to get here from the states.
