Default engine management light on

hi guys i fitted a prodrive sports cat this morning then went for a a little drive in the sunshine done about 20 miles ish all was fine stopped for a bit of lunch when i started the car for the return trip the managment light stayed on car seem to drive ok but lacks a little bit of grunt any ideas please

It's likely to be the o2 sensor, did you swap it over to the new cat? If you want the code checked, then pop over in the week.

did swap o2 sensor over are you going to the meet this week

It could be the cat on fire thats tripped the limp mode. This is normal when de-catting (I know you fitted a sports cat), you normally have to get a little connector to fool the ECU

Either that or the O2 sensor is fooked/ unplugged or dodgy connection

I get the same on mine mate but I just clear the code soon as it comes it norm stays off for a week or 2 if u want me
To turn it off that no prob been told soldering a resistor in does the trick ?
