Wheel refurb/colour change pics.
Refurbed a set of wheels this week and as they were off a scoob i thoght i'd post some pic's, the wheels are of a bug eye and had'nt been cleaned for a few years as the cars been off the road for a while, the owner basically said do what i like with them, so i did,
This is one of the wheels before, light scuff's and corossion,
Years of grease, brake dust and some salt corossion inside,
Inside cleaned and preped,
and satin blacked,
outer face repaired/preped and masked ready for re-coating,
with a coat or two of black 1k primer filler,
In a random dark grey/anthrasite metalic base coat chosen to compliment the dark blue metalic paint of the car, if i'd used a matt clear coat the final finish would have looked like this,
played it safe and decided to go high gloss as i was'nt sure if the owner would apreciate a matt or reduced gloss finish,
[I
All done, tyre reinflated and dressed.

Good job Jarvis , I think though you need to keep Ryan in his place - I suggest regular beasting and the odd trip to pick up a long weights.
I don't know these young un's have to no respect for their elders.

No problem, but you'd be looking at circa £200 depending on amount of prep required, have charged as much as £90 per wheel in the past (forged 350z alloy), you know what us main stealers are like
