What a fewking mess.................
As you know I have decided to kick my self up the arris and get on with getting the Scoob sorted.
As planned before the rear Fibre Glass replica is coming off. So today was the day.
Tiger seal is a ****ing joke, used the hot airgun and loads of very gentle lifting. It's lifted the paint and lacquer, so it's not just one on one off it's a respray.
Black maskers is saving the day for now. Merv will know
And this is how it will look for a while.

Get a OE V5/6 spoiler and get the boot and spoiler sprayed at the same time, Probably get the bumpers done at the same time as well.

i feel for you mate when i got my black catalunya it had some cheap flea bay gold scooby rally graphics on it i tried removing them carefully but took paint off the 2 drivers side doors in the end was cheaper to get 2 doors i found in same colour luckily enough rather than a respray but was just as gutted as i,d just got it and it looked a right mess for a week. glad your putting a spoiler back on i hate the spoilerless look lol

I had to use the hot air gun on full heat and a paint scrapper. The carbon wrap would be nice but I'll stick with the Cool Grey.
Exeldent will get a call to do some stuff next week and then when the house goes the tender loving care will begin

Awesome Imports have a Carbon Spoiler V5 for £200 and new bare black abs front spoilers for £179.
What do you reckon on a re-spray on the spoiler, boot and front bumper as a job lot?
Jarvis are you there?

A few peeps have commented that the car looks pretty cool without the spoiler
. Do I just get a vinyl wrap until all the bits are together? It'll be like fabloning maps again (Merv knows).
Do I now need a flap
Ty, drop me a text I am in Bridgend tomorrow.

Flap yes and leave the spolier off.
I'm a big fan of the V5/6 spoliers but I really like being able to see out the back window with nothing there

Anyone got a spare boot lid knocking about?
Until I have the cash sorted I am going to get one wrapped if anyone's got a spare. Colour does not matter.
Cheers
Ian
