My recommendation would be APS alloy wheels in Swansea, Steve there does a good job and is currently refurbing a set of Rays Forged S202 alloy wheels for me.

re: APS
Steve had several goes at my OZ Super T's but couldn't paint them without getting runs on the spokes. Made several trips to collect only to find obvious runs etc with the finish. When they were eventually finished (after five attempts), two wheels still had runs in the paint and my tyres hadn't been re-fitted as promised. I could tell that Steve was loosing patience with constantly working on my wheels and he almost definately made a loss.

While I was unhappy with the end result, Steve himself is a genuine chap who just said the thin spokes of the Super T's were just plain difficult to get right.

I was also expecting the whole wheel to be painted but only the faces were.

I would use Steve/APS again but would have a good chat about the rims and the overall finish expected before discussing costs and timescales.

Dean, I have to say I was more than happy with APS and he now has a bead blasting booth to improve the cleaning off process.

As with most repairers you just have to make sure they know what you want and will accept, and he knows how fussy I can be as well.

If I was not happy with the job he did on my OZ superleggeras then I would definitely not take him a set of ultra rare wheels.

How's the new job going as well Dean?

Give Steve in APS a buzz on 07747443214 and tell him what you need doing and he'll sort you out

Tip for you though - see if you can find out the correct paint code for the gold on the OZ rims as none of the paint suppliers will have it listed.

Try Renowheel in Brackla. Not the cheapest but he re-coloured my OE PFF7's from Bright Flitter to white.

They where outstanding and looked OE. He does a full tyre off, bead blast, dipping and buckle check before getting amongst the recoating.

Another vote for renowheel. Fair play they fixed my split alloy wheel when no other place would even attempt it! Ians pff's did have a very good finish aswell

The correct paint code for the Gold P1-WRC's is Du Pont paint code F9657 -D
This paint code is supplied on the boxes the wheels come in

The problem is - nobody recognises the paint code, i've done a few checks on Google and there are numerous things relating to the Du Pont paint codes but i'm in work at the moment so not able to fully look into it sorry mate
