Default another dilema

i have found these 2 sets of alloys for sale, but cant decide on which ones to get, also im unsure on what tyre size to go for 215.35.18 or 225.40.18

just wondering what everybodys thoughts were

its a 2001 bugeye in darkblue

is there anybody here that can photoshop??

Same colour as mine then. Take a look at view my scooby and you'll see my 18" in black. Personally i'd go for the darker ones in the 2nd link. I think darker colours look nicer on a DBM.

nice, mine had the same sticker kit but in yellow, untill i removed it which took the paint off 2 of the doors so its in the bodyshop at the moment being repairs, whilst its there im having the roof and bonnet and side sill skirrts painted.

you dont want to swap headlamps do you?

rob this is purly personal but i like the top link pff7 there a realy nice looking wheel and suit bugeyes realy well.

Rob had the PFF7's on both my old Bugeyes. Top wheels and will allow for Brembo's or big brake upgrades.

right iv decided to go for the first set (the 7 spoke), if i buy today they will post free of charge but i dont no what tyre size is best 215.35.18 or 225.40.18

what is recomended

Depends on what suspension you have on the car. If its standard then go for the 40 profile. I had to have 35 profile on my clssic or it would have been tighter than a ducks wallet

The slightly wider tyre will fill the arch a bit better and 40 profile will improve the ride and help protect those new rims

Rob I can't remember if your running a classic or new age car there ?

Classic tyre sizes for 18" alloys are 215/35/18 the only difference is a 2 door which will run 225/35/18.

New age run a 40 wall tyre if you try a 40 wall on a classic your going to chance rubbing the rear arches.
