i had on as my second bike i used to show off infront of the misses with it.its one of the reasons she maried me.i droped mine though and could never get rid of the fuel leak it used to stink.i think i paid 450 some time back, it wasnt as clean as this one though.

oh yea and mine had been modded it had a micron exhaust.

I paid less than that Daz. Just need to run it in, its got a new piston, cam etc.

Yamaha xt 500s are quite easy to find. Try finding a good 250 Montessa Cota i had one Years ago

theres not many good ones left out there,i looked for ages for my 200, restored it and it went up in flames in my brothers garage so I'm in the middle of restoring it again

Had my TY80 when i was 9, then move onto a 1992 Fantic 125 (air-cooled) at the age of 12:

then at 14 moved onto a 1992 Fantic K-Roo 250 (water cooled) this was a big mistake as the bike was miles to heavy and powerful for me:

Used to ride them in trials, but only at clubman level, was never really any good

Only did a handful of trials on the K-Roo before losing interest as the bike was just way to big for me to handle, eventually sold it and haven't had a bike for 10+ years until about 2 months ago when i bought another trials bike.
