Hi from another newbie
Just thought I would post a pic and say to the people I didn't speak to at the Jct 30 meet on thursday. It was good to see so many nice scoobys so close to home.
Here is the car I bought last monday. It's already booked in to Bridgestone Autos to have a few little things done. Well I say little

Mine too Part of the reason for buying the car to be honest. They are in need of a refurb and I'm unsure if I'm going to keep them gold or change to gunmetal
Thanks for the warm welcome and I'll be sure to introduce myself at the next meet

Thanks all for the warm welcome.
My V6 spoiler and STI splitter arrived this morning ready for Bridgestone Autos to fit and spray on the 14th He is also respraying the back bumper 3/4 panel and boot due to scratches and laquer peel.
Went down there on sat and saw another Scooby in the workshop. Anyone in here? It's blue with new age gold wheels.
Once that is done just the wheels to spray gunmetal, calipers to paint............the list is endless - if only the funds were

there was no need to be hiding this one in the corner mate.... really think those wheels in gunmetal will look stunning!!
what splitter have you gone for on the front then? apart from this and the wing... what are your other plans?!

It is the V5/V6 STI lip spoiler and STI V6 wing. I am having the rear bumper, boot, 3/4 panel, wing and splitter sprayed. I'm also having the door handles colour coded. Can't wait till it goes to the bodyshop
Apart from that I've ordered the crystal light pack and hopefully if it's nice this weekend I will paint the calipers and change the wheel colour

what lights do you have on it at present then?! mine look decidedly dull and boring.... if i get this right you were the car right in the corner yeah and we had another green one between us with the prodrive bits on it?! your lights any better than mine?! send us a pic of the current ones....
been trying to figure what exactly my car is.... think its a MY98, but then it has a different bumper and grill to yours... so they changed it slightly again I guess.... this is why I need the splitter to bring the front down a bit....
Is it possible to get the standard plastic skirts coded or do you have to get new? liking your idea of getting the handles etc done you see! Have to give us some tips on the wheel/caliper paint too!
Cheers..... a right newbie/novice!! haha

Yep spot on mate that's the one. Although soon to have my p-plate on it haha.
The headlights and fogs are crystal, I'm just changing the orange indicators and the sidelamps to crystal to match. You can probably see in the pic I posted above
