Default Where's MBK

Haven't heard from Mark for a while. Has anyone got his mobile? I know he has the AST struts and there happens to be a group buy on at the mo with PowerStation.

Cheers

Mike

BIG BRAKES (John) also has the AST's on his Classic. I've driven it, handling like you wouldn't believe, totally planted. Too hard for me though, being an everyday scoob driver.

Thought he was cooking on gas on the last run.

I want to know how the ride compares to my standard struts. Hopefully the ride will be a little softer than the standard struts on the STi.

IMO, for every day use you would have the 50/40 Nmm fitted this would give you a very firm but not bone jaring ride, ride hieght of 65cm on 17`rims/68cm on 18`rims, 22mm RARB on the mid setting, with alloy d/links, std FARB, with alloy d/links, antilift kit, bumb steer mod, and of course a curtis/powerstation 4 alignment, then your set for the roller coaster ride of your life..

For weekdays you dial in soft for the wife/kids..

For the weekends you dial in hard for your self..

But be warned you will want more

Happy motoring..

John

I know it is something I am slightly worried about. Does it invalidate everything or just the suspension? If so then it would only be the struts left to go and then it would be coil overs. It could invalidate the drive train as well I suppose? Another reason to get it all early and spray it hammerite black then underseal when on. Would they notice? I'm sure they would too.

A geom setup on its own would improve it I am sure but then it would be another £70 at a later date.

If you were coming up I'd say have a drive and see what you think but you are at golf.

Anyone else got a newage with any of this kit on that can offer some advice or just general on waranty and mods?

There's a massive difference in the handling with Eibachs and geometry to be honest, it's well worth it.

Then there's the fact that the car looks soooooooo much better lowered.

I'm not saying you SHOULD get it all done, just that your car will look and handle better with Eibach's etc.

Oh, and 18" alloys.

.......and a bigger spoiler.
