If you only use the car on the road imho:

Eibach springs on your current dampers
Whiteline 22mm anti roll bar in the front with the Sti drop links
Whiteline 24mm anti roll bar for the rear with steel drop links
Whiteline Anti lift kit (ALK)
Good alignment job by one who knows what he is doing.

If you are going track driving the above could be just right, but a nice set of Coil-overs with adjustable top mounts will be good instead of the Eibach springs and ALK.
On a real track the brakes will fail you next.

Graham.

What 911 said, he knows what he's talking about.

You have to consider what you're going to use the car for, if its 95% road and the odd track day, then the above, as soon as you go the coilover set up (towards a track set-up) the car becomes compromised as a road car IMO

Put eibach front and rear arb on, rear drop links. Front and rear strut braces.

Huge difference to car.

The standard struts on a 93 car will be well passed there best so if planning to fit new springs ensure you also renew the struts.

I'd begin with this before embarking on any further suspension mods, trouble with throwing everything on is you don't know what product has worked and what hasn't and everyone's differing driving styles require different set-ups. Just because 911's set-up works for him doesn't mean it'll work for you.
If you try bits piece by piece you may find you'll be satisfied with less modifications.

Perfectly reasonable comment above.
All my thoughts are based on my own experiences.

I'm thinking about getting coilovers, for better handling on my road (only) car, what makes you say the above comment?

It is easy to get the wrong parts from people and end up with the compromise above.

This is why you should buy from a good source with sound advice/back-up when you make your choice.

Above all, be sure you actually need Coil-overs for the purpose of the car you have in mind.

In my experience;

Whiteline adj rear arb and drop links was the best one off purchase and took care of most understeer. That one improvement was brilliant and is a must do. I had those put on my 1998 Wagon with knackered Bilstein dampers. Later replaced those dampers with Adjustable KYB's and new Eibach lowering springs at the same time. This is a road only car and for me works well - I can firm it up for fun, and soften it down when I'm crusing around London's speed humps. I drove it all the way to Le Mans and back on firm (was raining and I couldn't be ar$ed getting under the car!) so its not a totally compromised ride.

There is better for track or outright performance no doubt, but I reckon this set up has the cost / performance compromise just right for 90% of driving. Good luck, if it takes you as long as it did me to decide then you'll have a few restless weeks on here!
