Fitting arb bushes to bugeye
Just bought some powerflex arb bushes (front 20mm) for my 2001 import bugeye havent looked under car yet but looked at new bushes and they look as tho you have to remove antirollbar to fit them (no split in them) is this right,or do i cut new ones, has instructions in box but very vague on wether you need to remove arb to fit new bushes, please help

I only have Classic experience, but I doubt you can squeeze the polybush enough to slide it over the end of the roll bar and then round the tight radius of the bends.
The heavy duty Whiteline bushes are split, and mine have been perfect for 4 years.
I would split them with a very sharp knife (not a saw) exactly as the stock ones are, but would also contact the supplier before anything.
The bush when split might tear when you open it up to slip over the roll bar?

fitted them tonite, took old ones off first and found they were easy to remove as they are split (split normal) new ones require a sharp blade to make a split so you can put them onto the rollbar, they are a right chew on to fit as it was hard to get me (big numb) hands in to remove the the brackets, the japs must have tiny hands
