Ive got a Blobeye reverse scoop painted in 02C World Rally Blue. Its the last of my "test" scoops that Ive been producing for a group buy Ive started. Painted a few weeks ago at Prodriverules/Ryan in Leominster, and its been on my car for final testing of my scoops. £145 inc postage.
Its the lowest one in the picture (just before being fitted)
Ive had a few requests from the classic owners,,,but then Ive had requests from the newage owners too for all the "eye" options, but for now, its just blobeyes Im afraid.
Sold to Tazz01wrx pending payment. Thanks. Was good chatting and I'll drop you details tomorrow and get it off my car and boxed ready for posting over the weekend. Cheers
I had one of these supplied while they were being tested.
Let me say mine has been on for 2 months its done 3k miles 4 track days and is a great bit of kit act goes down lets heat out you can see it rising out the vents.
Pardon my ignorance mate, but are there any actual gains in cooling efficiency over the standard scoop?
I am presuming you know these are only appropriate for cars with a FMIC. In terms of cooling it's hard to say without an independent back to back test. What they do do is improve your view of the road and stop your bonnet from looking like it's going to be ripped off at speed!
Big Fud did some before and after temperature tests between the standard sti scoop and these scoops. He's claimed it drops temps according to the syvecs logging. I'd be more than happy to do a comparison test if anyone ever wanted to arrange one...
