To much mate, tell you what I will bung you £1000 as a favour for it! Only kidding obviously! I’ve been looking at loads of secondhand turbos, think the problem you may face is if your spending say £500 on a used turbo people feel semi comfortable about it and hope the seller is being honest. When your spending near 2k people worry more that it could be a dud. If you have graphs related to the motor showing it only running x amount of boost, producing x amount of BHP it may help convince people it’s not been battered. It clearly looks in good condition in general but that doesn’t always guarantee it’s a good one. Maybe some more info as to why your changing etc may help. You say bought in May, assuming this year 3k miles in that time is a lot really which some people may also question. Do you have the original bill of sale? A copy of that would also help I’m guessing. Just my thoughts.

hi thanks for the input. 3k is two ring trips. reason for sale a bit laggy for me that's the truth. here,s the graphs for it too.

Which turbo are you going to use instead? I have one of these myself (for a 2.1 stroker with AVCS heads) and I hope to map my car this fall, was kind of expecting more than 379 bhp at 1.3 bar for a 480 bhp turbo though? Good luck with the sale, I know how much it hurts buying one of these new

Yes of course, I have a FMIC and a large filter so that would help and the plan is to run 1.8 bar after running in the engine. A healthy VF36 shouldn't give you too much of a power drop and would have a nicer register.

How soon would you like peak boost on a 2.0 with a 450+ rated turbo,

These engines don't make any real usable power below 4 grand anyway,

Buy a German TFSI if your after a torquey@2grand engine

Twin Entry not Twin Scroll

My Upgraded SC42 is roughly the same 1.5bar @ 4.5k

This could well be over simplifying things but think of it as a single scroll with Twin Entry Exhaust Side,

Can keep the ELH and the advantage that they bring,

i think you arent right, twin scroll is exact what you have explained: twin entry. these turbos are named as twin scroll on lateral too:

It is not a True Twin Scroll,

Specific Wheels designed to work with the Twin entry Exhaust housing,

Twin scroll and twin entry are two different things. Exhaust side is completely different.

What year car is this for? MY08 + is fly by wire and I understand the housing is slightly different.
