Impreza P1 £4200ono
Very Reluctant sale of my much loved and well looked after Impreza P1.
Lovingly owned for over 4 years, have recently bought another car and no longer have room for this as well.
91,000 miles on the clock, Engine rebuild at 62,000. Receipts to prove, costing £4500.
She was rebuilt with a brand new Impreza P1 short block direct from Subaru.
This car is HPI Clear, checks welcome.
Standard spec apart from K sport 8 pot front brakes, Rota force Bronze alloys and whiteline rear anti roll bar.
Cambelt and cambelt tensioner replaced around 1500 miles ago.
Service history up to 62,000 then serviced by a friend, maintained regardless to cost. Oil change every 4000 miles.
Since owning the car i've run it using Shell V-Power fuel ONLY.
Waxed every 6 Months since i've owned the car using AutoGlym HD Wax, also prior to the last wax, all paintwork gone over with the AG claybar.
Now the minor but Bad Points..
Front bumper has flaking on lower lip due to stone chips
Rear bumper has a crack in the paint (Can be seen in the picture)
Car has been previously equipped with a front mount intercooler, in turn this has lead to the front arch/bumper being modified to accommodate, visually from the outside no different but is noticeable with the bonnet up, also ideally if you are looking to add any modifications in the future this will save some work!.
At the same time the aircon was removed, however when removed the system was working perfectly, I still have all the parts so if you are looking to put it back in it can be done.
There is a small dent on the drivers side door, where someone opened their car door onto her. It can be rectified by a dent specialist for around £60.
She has been in Storage since October so the MOT has expired, There are a couple of little issues that need to be rectified before an MOT. The front passenger head light is very dim, I believe its due to an earth fault but i’m no good at vehicle electrics. Also the horn doesn’t work. I have no idea why it stopped working.
The car was on ebay in early January where a time waster won the auction, He came out and test drove the car, He said the turbo was knackered, However he also asked where the engine coolant was located and where’s the dccd. The P1 doesn’t have dccd. The turbo has a little whine when you come on boost, however I believe it has always had the same noise, she still pulls very well with no smoke at all. If there is something I don’t believe it’s the turbo, maybe a slight boost leak or something. I think its fine, but feel I should mention as I don’t want my time wasted again.
Car is currently SORN and has no MOT so needs to be trailored away.
Any more questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Darren

Finding myself looking at this alot as I've always fancied a 2 door, must resist temptation I'm sure the Mrs would not be impressed if I brought this home and parked it up next to the STI. Good luck with the sale
