Question Re-badging S U B A R U boot badge (HELP PLEASE!)

Hi guys I recently removed the S U B A R U badges from the boot of my bug eye as it seemed like a good idea the time. However I've since changed my mind and want to put the badges back on.

So I need to know 2 very important things:

What adhesive shall I use to re-stick the badges? A freind suggested numberplate sticky pads cut to shape...

How the HELL do I get the positioning right?!?

Thanks for any help.

Tom

Don't do it, It will grow on you, its a clean look...............

But if you really want too, Double sided sticky tape from halfords (think its called trim tape) Its REALLY strong so you only get one chance at it!!

Good Luck

Cheers for all the replies lads. I think I'll just leave it how it is for a while, see if it grows on me some more. This is how it's looking at the mo: (bad pic - the "marks" are just reflections etc)

I bought a boot with STI spoiler on it which had been debadged. I bought the SUBARU and WRX IMPREZA badges from the main stealer and refitted. The SUBARU comes prespaced and you just peel off the backing and fit, you only get one try! I took measurements from another car at the dealers forecourt and then put a line of masking tape across the boot and put pencil lines on it to get it in the correct position. Double-doublechecked all measurements and stuck it on fine. Don't think they are cheap though, just to warn you.

Same situation while back, removed the badges luckily kept hold of them , cos the dealers will charge an absolute fortune for them!!!!! If you have originals i suggest going to your local signage company as the tape they use is far superior compared to halfords ****e!!!!
