It does kinda suggest payback for something. No smoke without fire and all that but you wouldnt wish that on your worst enemy and especially not their mother.

Saw another article that said some chap is in court this morning getting charged with the attack.

I read about it yesterday, seems his sister has been hanging about with some unsavoury type who got her knocked up, there was a barny at his mums house, boyfriend comes round in the early hours to have it out with him and ends up stabbing him and his mum, shocking stuff. From what I read the surgeons saved his life as he had his main artery cut. You cant imagine deep stab wounds would have done to his muscles etc, potentially he'll never play again.

Too many f()cking nutters in this world happy to stab you these days, I hope they get banged up for a long time.

They'll have to convict him first - probably only got circumstantial evidence like a blood splattered stanley knife and three 2nd hand first team shirts with "Davenport" on the back .

Seems it's all down to his silly slag of a sister loving a 'bad boy'.

Shocking stuff

He was on loan here last season, played quite well I was surprised we didn't sign him permanently.
