I cant see how to reply to a thread despite having used other
forums for ages

I want to reply to

but cannot for the life of me see of how reply i.e add further comments to the existing thread

I can see a reply button.

 

Are you using an application that stops banner ads appearing?

They have been known to kill the reply button.

I deleted all of my temporary Internet files and cooksie and voila ! the reply button returned !
