Had a couple of flutters with what was left in my account - £50 up after betting on just two games.

I'll be going for a France win and a Draw between Italy and Holland.

Tough one to call, Italy never perform at the Euro's and Holland are always bickering amongst each other, I see RVPersie and Sneijders have had a bust up, makes me want to go for Italy but i'll stick with my original decision.

Funkii - You still making big money with bets like that Can you let me know your thoughts on tonights games and I will go the opposite

Ive stuck a fiver on Portugal to win and Germany or Spain to win with Torres being top scorer. One of those was 48-1 but I suck at betting (hence I very rarely do it),

As I said, it was a lot tougher yesterday and the bookies had a headache so no having it off with them yesterday.

The 48/1 must be a combination bet Spain to win with Torres being the tournaments top scorer, good luck with that, a nice bet if it comes in

21:40 No headaches tonight :smug

The Spanish looked very good tonight

Aye. Shame Torres was taken off as Villa has a 3 goal headstart now.

It was actually 38:1 for Germany to win with Torres top scorer. I did same bet for Spain & Torres and that was 19:1.

BTW do you use Betfair? I used it for the first time for this and unless Im being a muppet its hard to find your current bets. Certainly nothing under "My Account - Current Bets" but when I look at the Sports -> Euro 2008 page it shows my bets. Not very user friendly IMHO.

Simon

Not a Betfair man myself, I have never been into their odds, just can't get my tiny mind around 1.83 or 2.11 WTF ?? give me 15/8 4/5 anytime

A mate of mine has an account and bless him he's tried explaining it to me but I still dont get it and like you say the website isn't that user friendly, better prices but it's for the hardcore punters imo, i'll ask my mate later on and i'll ask him how to access current bets, in the meantime i'll stiuck with Corals on line

Yeah its a bit weird like 8.2 is less 1 = odds of 7.2/1 is how I understand it. Anyway you can just add your bet and it tells you your profit.

Spain/Torres combo is now 35/1 - doh! Also Germany/Torres is 64/1 lol.

I found Coral a lot easier but Betfair odds deffo better (once youve worked them out ).

Tell me about it, double up last night and 2-1 to Turkey at 10/1

I think we will see a few more draws as the tournament moves on, make hay whilst the sun shines

It's a bit late now lol, I have noticed whenever I say what I'm doing it goes **** up, but I've done Ger and Pol in an acc with Portugal last night and Holland tomorrow (getting greedy now ) + GER to win 2-0 tonight.

Screwed that by publicising it.

It's always the case, isn't it!

Luckily for me (so far, at least) I wimped out on putting it all on the German's.

Had £10 on the frogs @ 11/1

If they can get out of the group then maybe the big name players will come through..
