It's based on your past 5 years (I think) in the CL and you also get points depending on the country you qualify from.

Still, Chelsea being semi finalists the last two seasons and quarters the year before seems to make a mockery of the way its seeded

On current form yes i agree but it's the way they do it and to be fair it's worked well. it's only becuase you've had millions of pounds invested in such a short time that you have moved up to that level. not a common thing.

But its not current form if its three seasons ago. How did it work well last season? with Liverpool, Chelsea and Inter in the semis?

So the points that seed teams in the Champions League, takes into account points gained from UEFA Cup and Inter Toto Cup?

Oh well, no wonder Liverpool have got so many

Newcastle got two more points for reaching the semi of the UEFA Cuo, than Chelsea did for reaching the semi of the Champions League, how mad is that!!!!

The fact is it's a compertition for big clubs who have a rich history in Europe. not for clubs who are nobodies in the grand scheme of world football

5 years from now you will be saying - "but we'll have Nottingham Forest in the replay"

I reckon Chelsea will win it. They have almost the perfect squad, and I reckon they will get a new striker in January just to help out! So unfair- all that money more compared to other teams
