Figo AND Owen to Liverpool
Just reading The Times and it suggests the Figo deal may well be back on with Owen returning to Anfield as well.
Sun still says they are in for Crouch............I know who I'd prefer.

With Morientes, Cisse, Baros, Le Tallec, Mellor and Hyypia I can't see that we need another striker anyway
Although I personally wouldn't be to unhappy if we signed Crouch for not much money

Latest news is that Figo's wife doesn't want to come to Liverpool and fancies the shopping in Milan instead!
So expect him to sign for Inter next week.
On Jimmy Hill Sunday Supplement this morning, one of the journalists said Owen back to Liverpool, possibly a loan deal.
Apparently Gerrard insisted on this as a condition of him staying at Anfield.

Personaly can't see it happening. As for gerard making it a stipulation in his contract, WTF, players don't have the power to pick n choose who the club signs. My thinking is that Owen was done at Liverpool, and they did well to sell him. Would they have won the CL with him, I don't know.
As i said this is my personal opinion, and if he wants to come to NUFC, then he's welcome, rather him than le sulk.

Owen's coming to Old Trafford
i'd heard (from a high sorce) that it was part of the Beckham deal to Madrid that Owen would go too and come to OT a couple of seasons later..

As for statement 2! Owen was still at liverpool when beckham signed and too many factors for that to be written into a deal.
