IMHO the people from FIFA should have stopped the match with all that racist **** going on. I was beginning to believe that the knuckle dragging element of football had been stamped out.

Yep ref was very poor.
A few of the Spanish players were falling left right and centre without being touched, which the ref wasn't picking up on. Apart from that the Spanish display was excellent, a real lesson for England.
Rooney is a complete muppet and a disgrace, why do they keep on mentioning his age as an excuse, get a grip!!!

And finally as people have mentioned on here was the racist chants, completely disgusting and despicable, the minority of the Spanish supporters should be ashamed of themselves.

Time Sven went IMO if thats the best he can do with the English team. No England player rates more than 3/10 for that lack lustre, embarrassing performance.

It's not as though it meant much though, everyone should know by now that they are usually only a friendly for 1st half before all the changes are made anyway (suprised a limit to 6 per team tonight), 48 games under Sven only defeated in competitive matches by Brazil & France (unlucky in both of those too) & Portugal but penalties isn't the same.

A bit disappointing but not the end of the world for Sven or England

I Agree though that we should have just walked off the pitch when the racial abuse started.. No one should have to put up with that IMO

Its a chore to watch england play these days as you know its gonna be boring. Redknapp saying before the start that it was the strongest team for years and Sven is lucky - we may have some skillful players but that doesnt make a team Jamie.

Wish I hadnt bothered watching tbh.

Rooney was a pleb and so was cole but at least it was mildly entertaining. Glad big nose Raul's penalty was saved.

If it was England fans doing the chanting we'd be banned from Euro competetions for 5 years!!! I expect the Spanish FA will have to pay a £10 fine or something equally pointless.....the worst for me is the Spanish Coach refusing to condemn it....indeed joining in if reports are to be believed
I've had it with football.....compare that to going to a Premiership Rugby game....crowds mixed in giving friendly banter to each other throughout, drinking a ton of guiness in view of the pitch and then all fans popping into the nearest pub for a good old singsong...and all at half the price of football
