Well, for those that know the tune but can't make out the words (like us in my office) here's what we think they are.... after much pulling out of hair and grating of teeth
There was a little spanish flea,
A record star he thought he'd be.
He'd heard of singers like beatles
and chipmunks he'd seen on tv,
why not the little spanish flea?
And so he hid,
inside a doggie from madrid
and we'll be hearing his name
and singing this flea harmony.
Ah, the little Spanish flea!
He walked around
as if he owned the town
and with his pint sized melody
with his guitar
he's going to be a star
and rent his old home to the brother bee.
Although once he met a man
who said I'll help you if I can
because someone has to be something
and it's something they'll love, you'll see
he loved the little spanish flea.
You'll be the rage
I'll put you on the stage
in concert like you've never were
we'll hear the words apon this crazy tune
since then a part time menace star was born
and when the people heard him play
and they all began to shout ole
he was a friend the nation
a singing sensation was he
but just a little Spanish flea
