Angry Emil Heskey...you muppet

That is why you play for Birmingham city now...2 words for you

FECKING MUPPET !!!

Just had to get that off my chest as we did so well for nearly 90 mins of the match and then Mr Goal Hanger comes in all big footed and gives them a free kick

And while we are at it, David James, loose the stupid gootee and stop fouling in the box you muppet

James and Heskey may well be ex Liverpool, but the Tw@t that got James in trouble in the first place still wears a red jersey

Pyrocam999 - we'll have to remind you that you called him a tw@t in a couple of games time.
Not his best game (by far), but Gerrard is truly world class and will hopefully show it in this tournament...

Andy, I wholly agree, Gerrard is a world class player. But at that stage of the game when you're under the kosh, you boot the bloody ball out the park, not try a fancy assed flick back to the keeper.

He obviously had a "momentary lapse of concentration" which cost his team dearly

Only one fork up tonight and that was gerrard and his Zidane bumlove backpass - hesky et al were fine, but if I'd have played a backpass like that in my sunday league team I'd have got a smack at full time - and I dont eran £40000 per week....

AAAARRRGGGHHHHHH - But after watchin Croats v Sweeeeees we'll qualify anyhooooo - yipeeeeeeee!

Have to say that I was more than disappointed in Gerrard, after all the hype asbout him being world class, he made that DAFT mistake that cost us the game, and it wasn't his only backpass from a long way out by any means:

That pass made him the second poorest player after hapless heskey- I'd like to see the colombian solution practiced on both of them.

Beckham created the England goal, he then failed to score a penalty against a former team mate. Hardly in Heskeys no contribution (other than to give away a golden goal scoring opportunity to the great Zidane) league.

Owen at least didn't do anything negative-unlike Gerrards schoolboy error.

Still I'd play him again, just not that lazy ****** Heskey.

I still can't believe it myself!!
Heskey has made a stupid tackle but ZZ still has to put it in the back of the net, you just can't right him off.
I don't blame James for the pen, the blame lies on Gerrard who's backpass beggers belief!
England did look good though for most of the game especially King and more so Rooney who has shown his critics how awesome he is!

Err what?? You sure?? how many games last season did you watch him?? with all due respect your talking bo||ocks

For starters he's playing in a different position that he plays at club level , he's trying to protect the back four, if you watched him last night he was one of Englands best players, he broke up alot of French attacks.

As for the above comments he is the best passer of the ball in the English team and he would walk into any team in the premiership incl. Arsenal.

The backpass was a stupid mistake and cost us the game, he knows that more than anyone.
