surely Euro2004 means European 2004
If this is the case why are Switzerland playing they are not technically part of the EU!!! their squalid bit of land just happens to be on the European continent!

Good point Suresh lets lobby the FA and get the rules changed then their will be no English hooligans over on Mainland Europe
Oh and when England turn up in Gemrnay in 2006 to lose again in the world cup can you please leave your hooligans at home? soem of us have to live here and don't fancy getting arrested with the riff raff.

You are missing something - by assuming euro means you must be in the EU and not just a country within the continent of europe.
Haha I still love that episode of sin cities where ashley is in germany (if you havent watched it a dead skinny gangly git) and gets challenged by the local drinking champ - first to down 5 of 9 beers on a rack each working from opposite sides. England 1 Germany 0.
