Disappointed I must say. Always thought Veron was class, and to accept 12.5k plus 2.5k performance related is a giveaway. I just hope Fergie has a big signing lined up, cos a trophyless season is going to haunt hime big time.

How can you NOT be happy with seba getting shown the door?? He came from Italy with a massive reputation and quite frankly failed to live up to it. He was given 2 years to impress and couldn't come up with the goods. He should've been sent packing months ago. United never looked balanced with him playing and his tackling was shoddy.
Rainieri has managed him before at Lazio and will probably bring out the best in him but thank God (or Fergie, whichever is the more powerful ) he has gone.

Mr Ranieri has never managed Veron or Lazio,he did however play for Roma,Catanzaro and Catania,he has managed Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Fiorentina, Napoli, Cagliari, Campania and now Chelsea

Care3- upon further investigation, you are right and I am wrong, Ranieri has neither managed Lazio or JSV in the past. Just goes to show I shouldn't believe everything I read!
But I still stand by my statement that Veron unsettled the balance of the team when he played. I don't doubt his talent just it didn't come together for him when it was needed.
