BE VIGILANT!!!
ive been reading on S/N general, & MIDLANDS & NORTH pages about lots of SCOOBY car jackers, Just would like to point this info out, as it very worrying, & would hate this to happen, to any one i KNOW, so if this is this years crazy trend, for the SCUM of the country, PLEASE PLEASE BE VIGILANT, when filling car up with petrol!! as this is there point of IMPACT.
So many people have put their cars up 4 sale because of it.
PLEASE get eyes in the back of your head. (dont ask how)
BAZ da CHAV (the good 1).

I have it on good authority , that, thank god, car-jacking is still quite rare in the South East, not to say that it doesn't happen. However, the next three 'scams' are very popular:
1) Keys stolen via the letterbox or general burglary into your house/work
2) Keys left in the ignition of the car when you go to pay for petrol, get money from an ATM, into a shop for a paper, etc. Still can't believe people do this. I know of one individual who had 1/2 million pounds worth of cars using this method in 6 weeks . Suffice to say he got 5 years , but he'll be back
3) A car rear ends you (minimal damage). You get out to inspect the damage. When you are met by a couple of guys who have the keys off you. Again, I know of someone who lost a brand new 35k BMW convertable, minutes after driving out of the showroom having just picked up his car.
Sorry to be the Master of Disaster, but fore-armed is fore-warned

If petrol stations are becoming favourites, I've always thought pulling the hose out of the filler and dousing someone with petrol from the pump would discourage anyone from trying to steal your car. I imagine a pump would have quite a good range. Being chazs, they're bound to be smoking.
