Ive had a clifford avantguard 5.5 with intellistart fitted and i cant get the remote start to work. ive tried programming it myself in the user selectable features but when i try to change the feature ( 1 chirp on, two chirp off) i get 6 chirps??? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Have you initialised the inteli start when you want to use it? I have this on my clifford 600 and to set it up to operate there is a set sequence you need to do EVERY time you want to use it. For my clifford 600 I need to press one preset button with the engine running, turn the ignition off (engine keeps running not on turbo timer) exit the car and set the alarm. This is done so you don't leave the car in gear which could be messy if the car was to be started remotely. Speak to who ever installed it to get the right sequence of operation.
