Default Programming a Cobra 6422 fob.

Hi guy's , When i bought the terzo a few months ago i was given just the 1 key,1 round alarm/central locking fob(knackered fob with the rubber bits hanging off ! ) and the stick immobilizer thingy.

Looking on ebay i've come across new cases for the stick and round immobilizer, which i can just swap over the internals........

But i've also seen on there new fobs and stick immobilizer keys, which say that they need reprogramming........
How do i go about reprogramming these myself With out going to a cobra dealer ?

Tried the search function but couldn't find exactly how its done as some pages i've looked at have different ways of doing it !

If anyone wish to pm me instead of putting up for the thieves to see, thats great.

Hi guy's..... I havent got any manuals for the fob or immobilizer stick sorry..

BTW update...... I replaced the outer cases on the old fobs (both) with 2 from ebay for £2.95 each, BARGIN !
Makes the keys look 100% better now without the gaffertape all over it !

But im still after programming info on new fobs if anyone has any idea ???

Auto learning procedure for radio keys:

1. With the system disarmed switch 'ON' the ignition.
2. Insert a touch key into the touch key recepticle, the dash status L.E.D. will permanently illuminate.
3. Press both radio key buttons, together, until the radio key L.E.D. stops flashing and goes out (about ten seconds)
4. Release the buttons and the radio key L.E.D. comes 'ON'
5. Press one radio key button, the radio key L.E.D. blinks and the dashboard L.E.D. goes 'OUT' for one second.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for all other legitimate radio keys. When all keys have been taught switch off the ignition. (The dashboard L.E.D. will go 'OUT').

Follow the above procedure points 1 and 2 but instead of adding the remotes in 3 you simply touch a new touch key against the receiver. Switch off the ignition to exit programming.
