Default Clifford Concept 650 Windows

Hello,

I have recently got concept 650 installed, excellent alarm.

I am however puzzled as to why the windows open slightly when disarming the car. The windows automatically close when arming, great feature.

Is there a way not to open the windows when disarming as my car was soaking before I even got into it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, looks like the installer has set the "lock pulse time" to 3 seconds and in turn its opening the windows of the factory comfort locking from it best thing to do is return it to the installer and ask him to drop the pulse time to 0.5seconds this will allow the doors to unlock but not the windows.

What year is the car? He may have a total closure unit installed?? More than likely if the pulse is set lower to .5 seconds this will cure the opening when disarming.

if the car in question is something like a bmw coupe and the door trigger wire has been taken straight from the door pin switch it could be that the "interior light activation on disarm" is making the car think that the door is being opened and this would cause the window to drop very slightly on disarm...

But since this is a subaru forum i would guess that the car is a subaru... having said that... no details of the cars make and model have been given by the original poster so at this point any answers are pure speculation.

Can't you insert anything more constructive, It seems to me there is a total close module installed depending on the manufacturer could cause the vehicle to open the windows slightly on disarm, I know I can set my Smart Windows 4 module to do this through cliffnet wizard I can adjust vent timers on the module to open. This may or may not be the answer but at least it is something to look into.

If you have smart windows these are not connected to your central locking and most add ons are not so no problems with these unless you have been adjusting programmes
only extended lock pulse on some vehicles may cause this but not on Scoobys
BMW yes and some VW's

If the car is fitted with a smartwindows module then it could be needing reprogrammed... I have seen them put the windows down slightly on disarm...

As dean says it has something to do with the vent function.
