My Scoob is currently sat in the work car park, with an incredibly loud sound coming out of it!

I would say its my alarm but its a completely different sound to what a Clifford sounds like, although its going off at the same volume (deafening). It sounds more like a beeping, just VERY loud.

At the same time, the alarm functions seem unaffected. The doors unlock and lock, the car starts, the LED inside acts like normal, as if nothing is happening.

Funny thing is, the sound on my alarm stopped working ages ago.

What the hell is going on??

 

sounds to me like your Ni-cad battery has gone on your siren. does it make any noise when you lock? if it used to and doesnt now either drive your car for few hours and see, or assume that the siren is knackered. any clifford dealer will check this...

is it a modified clifford unit? they have to be a special spec unit from clifford for any subaru impreza, something to do with the noisy cack electrics.
