Anti-jack query
#1
My boyfriend tells me I should avoid having an anti-jack system installed on my Scooby since, it comes to a situation where the systems becomes useful,it would be better not to have it. What is your opinion (I have already booked the appointment and in terms of insurance I am not getting a reduction).

Tracker would probably be more benificial, jackers work in a manner where you have a secret button to press every time a door is opened atleast with a tracker there going not going to come back to you when car stops in x time.

My alarm has this feature, a couple of seconds after the car is started the doors lock. It's a pain in the a#se and i'm getting it disconnected, because you have central locking you can do it tourself if an when you want to.

I know someone who had this on his old scoob, this system (made by clifford) worked twice when his house was broken into and they attempted to steal his car.
To defeat the criminals, you need the measures to do so, if your dragged out of your car and it has anti hijack, most of the criminals doing so wont bother asking you as they will be too busy trying to get away, this gives you the chance to make distance between yourself and the criminal (who is probably armed) and call the police.
Is it not worth having just for the knowledge that even in the minor situations (and the time delay it takes to active) that you will 1. be able to get away, 2. get your car back.

Johnny, blackjack is not the same as the door locking system that is on the sigma alarm. it is a stand alone system it does not lock the doors as tony says it activates after a door is opened. well worth the money imo.
