You may also want to consider http://www.navtrak.com which I can recommend.

You can have the unit transferred to a another vehicle for a fee if you decide to change over, and you don't get this on the RAC.

Cheers,
Ant

OK guys, i have until the monring to decide which system i should fit before i pick up the car, i've decided on either the Tracker Monitor/Horizon, is teh horizon worth the extra cost, Tracker themselves reccom'd teh monitor considering the area i live in i.e. built up. What's everyones opinion??

Thumbs up

From a Police point of view do not even contemplate anyting not made by Tracker. No i don't work for them but i do have to find stolen vehicles on a daily basis and nothing even comes close to Tracker for practicallity.
If you want to know the details you can mail me.

Be careful, i was told i had to have a tracking system fitted bt the insurance caompany. So i did my research and it seemed that TRACKER were the ones to go with.

So i went to have a tracker Horizon fitted, then sent off the cert, 1 week later i rcieved a letter from directline telleing me that my car was no longer covered against theft. Thye told me that tracker MONITOR was the least they would accept. Thankfully i had it in writing what they required and it didnt go into detail about which you can and cant have.

I then persued this matter seeking legal advice and after a long fight (9 days solid) they payed to have the system upgraded.

So check first, it could save alot of grief in the long run.

Hi Evolution.
I've just been looking at Tracker products. The Horizon is
a spec above the Monitor, it has the monitor + other functions.
I dont understand your insurance company.
