Saxo Boy,
A little story that might be of interest...
On Friday night I was at this charity dinner and I introduced myself to the chap sitting next to me whose name was Stewart.
Anyway we chatted away - the usual stuff - work, sport etc etc...
About half an hour into our conversation, he then mentioned that he drove an Impreza.
I said "me too!", and as you might imagine, we immediately switched to Scooby anorack mode and talked cars, mods and stuff for ages.
He told me of a "tussle" he'd had recently with a Saxo VTS, and later he'd discovered a note from the Saxo driver under his windscreen wiper.
I asked "was it a black Saxo?" and he said yeah.
In the note, the Saxo driver had invited him to join Scoobynet and had signed it Saxo Boy...
Small world eh?
Rich

OMG I remember that! Big time small world We came accross each other at the Fairmilehead lights and I recognised his registration plate and knew where he parked. He was kind enough to let us get a rolling start (hence no 4WD advantage) and then proceeded to murder me. I wanted to find out what mods, etc he had so figured I'd try to lure him onto scoobynet with the carefully placed note. He was behind me again the other day but I noticed he has a young child in the front so I immediately switched out of tussel mode. With a bit of luck he'll log on someday

He's got a MY00 with PPP.
I followed up on your recruitment drive, by insisting that he'd logged on soon to say hello...
...which he might, but we were both pretty drunk by that point!

I've been aware of some of your postings before but there are so many Rich's and Richards on this site I loose track. What sort of scooby have you got and where would I be must likely to see you for some furious waving action

Nothing special:
Silver MY00 UK 4 door.
Distinguishing features include:
- DRM 22b spoiler (as the original one was nicked )
- Scoobysport back box (sounds nice.)
- Pink nose badge (like it better than the black one.)
Usually found lurking around Leith / East Edinburgh and out Haddington direction...
LOL at furious waving action BTW

Heheh
Yeah - I suppose it's up-badging which is not very cool (bit like me really.)
Maybe I should change it to blue, yellow or silver etc
John, I'm pretty sure my "gutless" MY00 won't get past yours...

Err okay - I mean "nothing special" amongst other Scoobs.
It's a fairly standard UK car as opposed to a special edition or an STi.
Not that I'm complaining - I love it!
Try here for smilies..

Just got a little more horses this morning by fitting new "cerise" badge.
It's the "i" badge which I hear gives at least 15bhp extra.
Off to buy some new mats which will really make if fly!!!

Hot off the press - top tip - paint your inlet manifold STi red for + 25bhp, this mod is particularly effective when done in conjunction with STi fog lamp covers .....(dyno proven)
