215/40/17 need 2,Ive seen on net for £144 delivered. need asap tho as my inner tyre is fooked, yea through to wire job!! lucky i noticed!!

Blackcircles will sort out the fitting for a modest fee, when one of my cars needed new front tyres I ordered from them and two days later popped past Colin's Tyres [1] in Dyce for fitting (BC had delivered the tyres straight to them. Easy and much cheapness

Checkpoint have some very good deals on Toyos at the moment. Well worth a call.

Also give Blackcircles a call (You'll get extra discount if you are an SIDC member). A few places to get them fitted locally as well.

Ronnie at Wheels Around has some cracking deals (I think they were about £60 each fitted in that size!), though you would have to go there for the fitting, or our next Knockhill event.

I got those very tyres for £62 +vat each iirc.

anyway, two tyres fitted and wheel alignment done for £166 in total.

I had Jim at Turriff Tyres fit my last two proxes and basically he's buying them in at the same prices as My Tyres are selling them to the public for. I was really gutted for him when he told me that.

However, i'm looking for 2 more 215/35/R18's at the moment and MT are coming up trumps at £90.80 a corner delivered. Black Circles are closer to the £120 mark delivered.

Will call Jim and see if he can fix me up a deal, i don't mind paying a little extra if it helps keep a small business alive.

Wee Update:

Ok had four 'My Tyres' Toyos fitted this morning at Turriff Tyres. When i called to check they were able to fit me in i was asked why i didn't call them for a price first.

Turns out that the suppliers have corrected the balance so to speak and Jim/Julian can now supply the Toyos for the same price as My Tyres (a little cheaper if you include fitting).

So my 4 215/35R18 Toyos cost me £89.60 each delivered plus £9.64 each for fitting. Julian quoted me £98 each fitted this morning. Plus i had the hassle of chucking four wheels plus four tyres in the car not to mention the 8 days spent waiting for them to be delivered.

Provided that price includes VAT (forgot to ask ) i'm done with using the internet to buy my tyres. Pun intended.

I have always got good deals at Laws Tyres Bridge of Don, I recently bought TS-1s 195/50-15 at under £50 fitted.

They have always matched genuine prices from other suppliers, worth giving them a call.
