Wink Helmet's for Knockhill

Just a small question for the mods to get an anwswer for if they don't mind

What type of helmet can get used for Knockhill.

I am needing to buy 1 as ha big heed don't feel to comfy in there helmets so i was thinking about a open face one, but at handing out they said it wasn't possiable, i also spoke to Dougster about this and he thinks it's not a problem.

I don't wont to fork out good money and find it's not suitable for knockhill.

Cheers Dougie

Dougie, I've always used an open face helmet. No one has said anything about it, and I 've seen others using open face helmets.

You'll be fine with an open faced one. There is some BS number they have to comply to but that is it. Having said that I've never heard of anyone having their helmet checked out at a track day (I probably should reword that )

IIRC mine was about 40quid.

As I said Dougs, only the karting places don't like open face lids.

Use this one, and saw several folk with the same one today:

Comfy, cheap and BS approved.
