ive been told a few things over the weekend :S

xe sump is baffled, the 8v sump can fit and helps prevent this.....

i think it was just too much oil and too much sideways....

prob cause

from MIGweb

The oil in the cam cover, got thrown down the big breather tube to the throttle body, and result=loads of smoke.Block of the big breather going to the throttle body, and vent the cam cover pipe to air/bottle/catch tank.
not seen the vid but sounds like oil surge up the breathers to me, try disconnecting the breather from the inlet manifold block up th ehole in th emanifold and eithe rvent the breather to atmoshphere or better still a catch tank and see if it doesn it again, thats all i can think of it being!

Catch tank should be good for a few bhp and get rid of loads of underbonnet piping- means the car aint breathing stinky oily fumes

not the best for the environment but the pug will be getting one
