Hi there,

I dont actually drive a Scooby, I drive an RS @ the moment, I am a recent convert to Scoobynet cause of the speed on the RSOC BB...

Just curious who is from Dundee on here?

The only 3 Scooby's that I have seen in Dundee are a new style (bug-eye) blue one @ Dundee College with a private plate and a white older style Impreza on black chrome 17's. Also seen a dark red 4dr Impreza with 17" Gold multi-spokes...

Are these people off Scoobynet or just random Scooby owners?

I am trying to satisfy the urge to post stuff now that the RS BB is down...

Yeah, that would have been me... Didnt notice a Cossie ripping up the bottom road!!

Still trying to find my way round this new BB, posted a few things, well 9 or something!!

I got some pics from him but he's having probs getting them out of the digi-cam cause his batteries died half way thru the day and he think he might have wiped half the pics he got!! I could post about 3 pics so far but dont know how many others he will be able to save...

I'm actually over here cos i'm now looking for a Scooby.
Still have the Cossie, but nevermind.

Any ideas when the RSOC BB will be back up ?

To be honest, I have been a member on here for a month or something but forgot my password, so couldnt log on!!

Its ok Jim, I wont tell anyone about it!! The car is running fine, toying with the idea of getting it chipped. I will ask the guys @ R.J.M if there is anything that I need to uprate, or replace so that it makes reliable power, dont want my new engine going 'pop'...

Yeah Kev, I understand what you mean, if I had a Cossie, even standard I think I may struggle to keep my license!!

Johnny, glad to see that you are still looking @ a Scooby 5dr... However, the ST170 is now coming with free insurance for over 25's so that could save you a few quid...

Yeah it's tempting Grant, but i still need a car to keep for a few years, and something tells me i may get bored with the ST170.

God knows....i cant decide.

So what you been up to ? Enjoy Crail ?

Yeah, Crail was awesome...

Kev's car is an awesome thing to see, its the way it launches off the line! Also, there were alot of decent RS' about and the weather held out which was nice...

Not been up to much, you know me Johnny, dont like to over-stress myself!

I've just realised that this has turned into an RS Ownersclub chat thread... Didnt set out for that to happen, but nevermind! Any ideas how long the RSOC BB will be down for cause I cant even get the message from Giz anymore!

Grant

P.S - Are there actually any Scooby owners from Dundee on here?

i,v never known the rs bb to be down this long,

anyway my new gearbox is going to be here on tuesday, at last
and i should have the turbo by mid week too

i,m getting exited about trying out the gearbox, i think it
will take a bit of getting used to changing gear without
using the clutch!

kev, yup!
its an R&D six speed dog box
sixth gear has been mad slightly taller than the standard
fifth on the MT75 box so theoreticaly should give higher top
speed.......

apart from that they are supposed to be awesome thru the
gears (no boost drop) a big advantage for me cos of the
big T4 turbo
i will keep you all posted!

Easy way to keep your lisence with a cossie - take it off the road for 2 years!!!!

So it is still a T4 then kev? They are a little small arent they

hmmmmmm.

Was it the TO4E you had before? Will you have to get your car remapped for this new secret spec turbine?
Sounds good fun. My car should make an appearance in June cant wait.

Not enough metal left in the back of my cossie to stick a tow bar too - lots of iron oxide though! Its my secret weapon - reckon it weighs a lot less after washing down the drains!

Now I need to work out how to insure my car.....hmmmm 1 standard sapphire cosworth LOL

Missed the board myself...

Sounded pretty fast, working -> not working in 5 mins!

LMAO @ the irony of switching to a new server for reliability and then breaking down again!!
