Anyone see the story about a head on collision near haddington?

Some little w@nker called Kevin Sands (19) stole a car and crashed head on with another car, then left the scene [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

The girl is now a vegetable because of him, and he's only got 18 months for it!

I hope Kevin has the same done to him! He doesn't deserve to breather our air! Scumbags like that should be killed with no questions asked!

I was out on site in the sticks around Haddington and had been enjoying some 'quick' driving. I came to a very long, dodgy access road (sees about 5 cars a day) and had decided to slow down as it had lots of potholes, dodgy verges and I was giving the turbo and brakes a rest. Next thing, a stupid women in a corsa came flying over a crest at a silly speed and then locked up when she saw that there actually was another car on the road!!!! I swerved into said dodgy verge and we JUST missed each other. If I'd been horsing along as well it may well have been very nasty

What's there to discuss, she was going too fast and compounded the situation by panicing and locking up which skidder her car over towards me At least if it was a guy he'd have been doing 40mph more, would have killed me and made a proper job of it

Tell me about it! In fairness I do drive quite a lot of dodgy country roads so the chances of 'incidents' or close calls are probably greater.

There was me out and about pressing on at points on Friday the 13th I only realised that after I got back to the office

I can't see what the joke is, my insurance company know about my mods, they cover my business miles, etc! I can't see that I've done anything wrong!
