Another well organised day, weather stayed good too
Pity i retired after one lap So a big thanx to everyone who let me passenger with them, especially to Iain who gave me an infinite amount of laps in his yellow smartie
Some interesting cars along too, mainly the 2 rally cars and the single seater
Also thanks to John, for helping me out. Although i was fighting with the car all the way home, wasn't fun!

Another good day
Just a shame a few of us had car problems; mine made it back to the garage in one piece (thanks to all involved in its temporary repair) and will hopefully be alive and well in the next week. To round things off I had a bit of a bad camera day, so if your car is not featured in any of the picts below I'm sorry but I didn't get any decent ones of it

Thanks to John and all who helped time the event.
Iain, you might have been frist on but the old wagon was still going strong after you had packed up for the day!
Just wish I had my new brakes fitted.

That was sneaky going back on when I eventually came off. We certainly got our money's worth from the day. I was down into "REFILL" on the smartie for the first time ever at Kames. Reckon must have done at least 140-150 laps. Was pleased to break my previous best time by two seconds to match TUT's times. Bet you were pleased with your times as well. You certainly wern't hanging about near the end.
Enjoyed the passenger laps with folks, especially with John. Its really different going around it in a Scooby. Felt far more powerfull than the Elise but grip not as good. Thanks for that John and for orgainising the event, and to everybody that did the timming (Cheques in the post) Good turnout of the regulars and a new arrival, the Sun.
Was good seeing some new stuff on track. The VX220 got some really good times as well. The Rally cars wern't up to much though. All show/sound but no go.
All in all a great day out and thoroughly enjoyed trying to make as much noise around the corners as possible. Even had a teeny weeny bit of tread left (not trying hard enough). Crush seemed to enjoyed the track from my passenger seat. At least he didn't get any off road stuff like another passenger did. Was a pity a few people had car problems. Glad I didn't. Will try and get some photos up over the comming week.

Thanks to John for another excellent day's play
I'm now getting some decent (and consistent) times in and can't wait to get the new exhaust and springs on to see if I can improve At least the front brakes/wheel assemblies have stopped squeaking now ...
As we discussed, I'm up for a "spur of the moment" day if you want to run one.
