Default Scooby main dealer servicing?

Due to not having any local independents around me I got a quote for 10 year service to include cambelt and main dealer quoted 567 inc vat. Optional 50 extra to do fuel and oil cleaning additives. Does this sound like good value?

That's not bad. I paid £500 for a major service (incl diff/gearbox oil change but no cambelt) at a Subaru main dealer.

Not sure that is bother with the fuel/oil additive though.

Cost you about £120 in parts and half a days with the spanners, "missed the bit about the cambelt"

I know your right just have neither the time nor inclination in this weather

Cambelt seems to be at least a 100 alone let alone oil, filters etc.

I'd stay away from main dealers....IMOA
I've had a cambelt done and they didn't reconnect the fan switch!( they told me that we had had a lot of rain and that could have undone the clip)
I've also had an oil service done and the level was on minimum less than two days later! (It never used a drop)
And I've had a wing mirror on order for two weeks for a silver sti and when I went to collect it, it was blue!!!! (And they had the reg)
Just my opinion.

Closest specialist to me is 50mile away and when I called them they didn't call me back as promised. Pretty much stuck with the main dealer.
