I,ve started to do my rear twin pots from speedcrazyfreakz (good scoobynet seller & good com`s too )

well after 3 coats they were orange as discussed with mattyb1983 ,so had some clear vht and that made them go a lot reder..

the brush paint might be differant,

Hope this will help out other scooby netters that buy the can ,you also might have to get the vht clear ...

strange thing though last year or 19mths ago i did my fronts and that was the same stuff and was red so they must have changed there specs to try and get you to buy clear as well

waiting for paint to dry before i can touch buddy looks alot redder with the clear coat over the top

 

I used red hammerite on my old brakes never had any colour issues with that

 

I found out today that the reason vht is orange and not red is a chemical was took out as not aloud to use it anymore ..been put on the banned list

also got told hammerite had the same chemical and has also been taken out so evan the new hammerite might not be good for calipers anymore ...
