I have a blob eye STi PPP...

As stated stuck on an island with no super unleaded, I have additive on order but it has not turned up yet

What options do i have? I have read that maybe using 10% methanol would do it, or am i best just filling her up with regular fuel and not doing over 2.5k revs?

I have read that if u use normal fuel then after you switch back you need to have the ECU reset...

Help, any advice appreciated.

Youd more than likely need to be mapped for meth too much into tank could be catastrophic to your engine, worst case use normal and stay off boost until your on better fuel

As above methanol will only be of use if your car's mapped for it. You need a lot more methanol to yield the same energy as petrol so it would be a retrograde to step to use it. Use regular and stay off boost. The standard knock sensor should protect your engine till you get some octane booster.

It has a 14 mile road circuit (single track roads), you don't need an MOT here either.

Oh and it's a 5.5 hour ferry journey and then a about another hours drive to the nearest 98ron station..

Don't **** about with it though, because it is horrible stuff. Do a lot of reading before you buy it and start mixing. Im sure that SN will have had posts about it in the past.
