Subaru not running right
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can help me, my subaru is not running right. When I open it up a little it has no power so I let go of the throttle then and foot back then I have power, when I change gear at hight reves sometimes it backfires and some times the check engine light comes on for a few seconds and the car has no power, I have only had the car for a few months its a 1997 impreza turbo2000. If anyone has any ideas please can you let me know. Many thanks.

I just started counting as turned the key mate it sounds dead complicated when you read how to do it but honestly its not mate the long flashes are tens and the short ones are ones ie two long two short = 22 and if you miss them the sequence repeats itself anyway hope this helps a bit

unplug connector - two wee screws that hold it to throttle body ,take it of and clean it out with carb or brake cleaner , put vaseline round the o ring and reassemble - easy peasy
