Hi guys,

Am new to this forum. A really good place to find useful information.
Am actually based in Mauritius (island in the indian ocean), and its mostly summer climate here 20-30deg.
I have a 2002 blobeye Subaru WRX STi with a swapped V3 engine with a TD05H turbo,
K&N cone filter, full decat with 3 inch downpipe, HKS line and exhaust box.
I bought the car as is, last year, its been running ok with plenty of power. It had with its original Z4 ECU, was boosting 0.7-0.8bar. Few months back I swapped to a chipped SC ECU, boost is now up to 1bar, but I now find the car a bit laggy and is running rich. I guess a remap is essential at this stage. We don't really have professional mappers down in Mauritius, and I was wondering if anyone could help to get me a contact for a Subaru mapper in the UK and the costs.
Can the SC ECU be flashed and remapped?

Thank you for helping.

Cheers

Just been reading that the SC ECU is from a STI wagon and actually has the Z4 map as standard. It'll probably have some kind of daughter board fitted to enable mapping. Have you opened up for a look? If it's has ESL then you're in luck but I'm not sure about any other add on "chips".

There are mappers that will travel at cost. I believe Duncan travels to other countries.

Having had hols in Mauritius on my way back from SA would it be easier for an SA mapper to visit you? Not trying to stop anyone from the UK going out there, it's bloody lovely, but just thinking of the logistics?
