hey guys,
am thinking about getting a turbo 2000, 98/99/00 and as they are pretty low on power,i was thinking if i tuned it to 270 ish bhp, what would it be like with an ra box in it.
am not too bothered about not having the top end, struggling to find one,any ideas how much they go for and roughly what power they can take? is it 300-350 and hanging by a thread?

Ive had import wrx and ive now got a uk spec now and realworld they dont feel too different they are as tuneable as the rest
As for the gearbox im not sure mate i think you need to change the diff aswell but im sure someone will
Be along to advise .i know my 2 wrxs were a pain on motorways because of the low gearing

thanks for your input keith. i used to have a import wrx @ 316bhp,but the rear arches were fubared and it ended up being broken.
basically if im going to get another its going to have to be a turbo 2000 uk car as it may need to be re-registered in france as i spend quite a bit of time there,easier to register a uk car than an import.
as i reside in the countryside with many country lanes i was just thinking the car might be more fun with a close ratio box.
